Leek Oxford F1 is a main pre pack and fresh market hybrid leek variety. As a main season variety, it is best at Christmas. It has outstanding leaf quality.
A White Lisbon salad onion type but with distinctive stiff upright leaves which shed water very effectively. This makes Eiffel less susceptible to disease at difficult times of the season. It is slow to bulb, especially in the long days of summer, and will overwinter with careful crop husbandry.
This hybrid leek has long shank with a dark green colour, good uniformity and it is high yielding. It is upright and has good cleaning ability. Suitable for main season growing period.
A distinct Tozer salad onion which proves itself in the marketplace. It is very versatile, being used for both spring and autumn production. Ramrod is also winter hardy, making it a good variety for drilling in the autumn. Additionally, it can be used for producing larger, bolder type salad onions if overwintered and left to develop in the early spring.
This hybrid variety is an improved Lancaster type. It has similar vigour but tighter leaf stacking and it is more erect. Suitable for the main and late season growing period.
