Beet has provided a range of vegetables nearly as diverse as those supplied by the cabbage. Tozer breeders have been selecting and refining our range of Beets for many years producing excellent and trusted varieties for the professional grower.
Recent Tozer breeding has concentrated on root fly resistance and has culminated in the release of Flyaway and Resistafly, two increasingly popular varieties. Flavour has also always been an important factor for us and all of our range is considered to have good flavour.
Bulb or Florence fennel produces white, slightly flattened bulbs with an aniseed flavour; other types are used to grow foliage as a herb.
Tozer Seeds pioneered the development of F1 hybrid parsnips with Gladiator and the very successful variety Javelin. Tozer's hybrid varieties offer strong vigour, uniformity and quick establishment making them very popular with commercial growers.
