Cos, lollo Rossa, Oakleaf and Batavian types which have leaf colours ranging from bronze to intense bright red. The ‘redness’ of lettuce leaves is strongly influenced by day-length and intensity of sunlight.
A red cos with all the attributes of traditional cos. The red colour is most intense in summer. Leaves are blistered and have a very upright habit. Mildew resistance: Bl 1-16, 19, 21 & 23.
