Tozer Seeds have been breeding marrows for 45 years and are the only company to have bred hybrids, including the most widely grown varieties such as Zebra Cross and Tiger Cross. As with courgettes our breeders are developing new varieties for a changing market.

Badger Cross F1
The latest hybrid marrow from our breeders. Prolific, attractive dark green and cream striped fruit which are easy to see for cutting. Intermediate CMV resistance.
Bush Baby F1
Attractive baby marrow, with a bush type habit and good flavour. Bush Baby has been bred to satisfy the market requirement for a smaller marrow. Approximately three quarters the size of a standard variety, Bush Baby is suited to both field and container production and produces a high count of fruits per plant over the season.
Piccolo F1
A real dual-purpose variety. Produces and abundance of nearly round green striped courgettes which are a great shape for kebabs. These fruits can also be left to rapidly mature into small round marrows which are perfect stuffed. A neat spine free bush habit makes this variety easy to grow and perfect for container sales.
Tiger Cross F1
An early bush variety with highly uniform mid green and cream striped fruits. The first hybrid to have intermediate resistance to Cucumber Mosaic Virus. It is now very popular and is grown across the UK and Europe.
