Our breeders have kept pace with this explosion, our lettuce varieties are now grown throughout the world and we were one of the first companies to breed specifically for baby leaf lettuce. The Tozer lettuce breeding programme works to meet the demand for a wide variety of different types, shapes and colours. As well as the traditional Butterhead, Cos and Crisp/Iceberg we now have newer types such as Batavias, Oakleaf, Lollos and lots of coloured varieties.
The Tozer baby leaf lettuce breeding programme is focused on developing novel varieties with resistance to mildew. We are able to offer a broad range of products with excellent mildew resistance and improved colours, shapes and textures.
